Many books have been written on the subject of recruiting people to a sales team.  Often the materials are provided by individuals with no real history of success themselves, except in selling a few books. 

As the subject of this site is directed towards the MLM, Direct Sales, Network or MultiLevel Marketing Industry, I will get straight to the point.  While in High School, I took my first step into Network Marketing by joining Amway and learned one truth which is foundational for all Network Marketing organizations.  You need to build a Sales Organization.  Working with clients today, I still run across references to a quote often cited during my Amway days...

Is that not why a Car Dealer sets up a sales department, a Real Estate Broker takes on as many Real Estate Agents as they can, or a manufacturer sends a sample of their product to as many retailers as possible?  Often referred to as the Power of Duplication, it gets down to finding as many people as possible to assist in marketing or spreading the news about a particular product or service.  In fact 100 people giving 1% will be more efficient than 1 person giving 100%.

So, we must look at Recruiting a Sales Force.

The points below will assume that you already have a solid corporate infrastructure, as well as a viable and exciting product with a solid supply chain.

GREED: Considering the Compensation Plan
What is in it for me?  The greedy question of how much I can make, when answered correctly, can play an important roll in recruiting.  Thus, one of the first steps to undertake is to determine a compensation or commission structure that will attract new members to the Sales Force and encourage them to attract others.

CULTURE: The Family
Even the worst compensation plan on the planet can be overcome by building the Culture, the Atmosphere, the Family of your Sales Force.  Enthusiasm is in Numbers and Numbers are what you are after.  Organize the group with a Cause, a Message, a Culture.

EVENTS: Gathering the Flock
Even the most discouraged members of your Sales Force can be rekindled when attending an event.  Recognition of members for things like Birthdays, Anniversaries, and Sales Quotas are common.  Bring the message home to each member that they can do it.

FEAR OF LOSS: Legtricity

MultiSoft: A Brief History
MultiSoft began about 25 years ago, just outside of San Diego, CA in the great town of Temecula.
